First-time home buyers
Your first mortgage, explained properly.
First-time buyers get the least explanation and have the most questions. That's backwards, and it's usually why the process feels worse than it needs to.
What makes the first one hard
It isn't the paperwork so much as the not-knowing. What you can actually afford, what the deposit really needs to be, what happens between an accepted offer and the keys, and which parts are genuinely urgent versus which just feel urgent.
Most people find out by being rushed through it once.
How I work it
You get told what's happening at each stage, in plain language, including the parts that aren't good news. Knowing where a file genuinely stands is worth more than reassurance.
First-time buyers are also the people I most enjoy working with — they ask, they listen, and they tend to stay.
This is for you if
- You've never held a mortgage before
- You're not sure what you can realistically afford
- You're saving toward a deposit and want a plan
- You want someone to explain rather than rush you
Think this is your situation?
Send me the details and I'll tell you straight away where you stand — including if the answer is that it needs work first.
